Why did you spend your down payment on bills? Should have sold the 237 cars you have back in Ohio instead. Dont drive them anyway...

you want to see my associates? I have it hanging on the wall next to my diploma. sorry to hear bout grainger. from the way you ranted and raved over it I thought you were going to be a lifer. why did ya quit? I have lots of pride in my work which is why I am back at Farm and Barn. New management rules!!!! old management sucked to high hell. I was never on unemployment. I dont want handouts. everyone I saw who had unemployment just blew it all on liquor and stupid shit..... I didnt want to fit into that category. which is why I blew through my DP, and parted out my GTP to live on and pay my bills my way.
An associates is little better than a HS diploma anymore but it’s an admirable start, way more than some.
Regarding Grainger, that door closed (along with about 50 others) with a mass lay-off in Chicago but another opened that addresses me by a name instead of a number, gave me a better title and a virtual guarantee of opportunities! (…plus an annual trip to our suppliers in China!)
I did collect unemployment for 8 weeks because I have financial responsibilities that affect others; I don’t have my food and housing paid for. Some people forget that unemployment is insurance that an employer and “YOU” pay for! Unemployment plus some good money management allowed me to retain a large 4-figure cushion in the bank between jobs which got spent on home improvements over the past few weeks!
I post this as I agree that there are way too many out there who don’t even try and would rather party and enjoy their “time off”. However, there are a lot more who feel ashamed for applying for unemployment, “Link” card use and other programs but have spouses and children relying on them to provide. People need to remember that they have already contributed into these programs in the event that they may need to rely on that money themselves.
There is no shame to collect as long as you never stop trying! …but hey, I suppose it’s easy to have your pride when you have nothing to lose.
