As some of you might have heard Brett Gifford, a cherished friend and original member of RockfordRacing.com, is going to be passing away soon. Some years back, Brett’s kidneys started to fail. Since then he has battled with his health through three kidney replacement surgeries all the while keeping a positive attitude and continuing to be a good friend to us all.

After some dramatic turns in health, Brett’s treatment ended last week and he will be passing within a few days. His parents, who have been there throughout this struggle, will have many upcoming things to tackle. In Brett’s positive and giving spirit, I am starting a donation fund to assist his parents with his final plans.

Brett was a good friend, a long time contributing member to Rockford Racing, and an incredible person. He will truly be missed.

Anything you can possibly donate will be greatly appreciated. We would do this for any member such as Brett and in that spirit, I look forward to your help. One single dollar to as much as you please will help. Please click the button below to donate.

For those of you who do not have PayPal, I will be organizing a time to meet out at a restaurant in Rockford soon so you can donate as well.

For everyone that goes to Meineke Car Care Center on 905 West Blvd. for an oil change and mentions RockfordRacing.com, 5 dollars will go to the fund. This will still be the standard price of a regular oil change...profits just go to the fund. Thanks BB89LX!
